A dated kitchen with a closed-off pantry and wine nook, rebuilt around charcoal cabinetry, Art Deco tile and warm brass.
The cooking wall is the centre of this kitchen. Marble hexagon tile runs floor to ceiling behind the range, the joints picked out in brass so the pattern reads from across the room, with a timber-clad hood sitting above it.
Either side, floating white oak shelves break up the run of white cabinetry and give the room somewhere to put the things you actually want on show. The counters are a honed grey that keeps the whole composition from tipping into brightness, and brass hardware ties back to the tile.
