Kitchen Remodel
Savory Sanctuary
A dated kitchen with a closed-off pantry and wine nook, rebuilt around charcoal cabinetry, Art Deco tile and warm brass.

Location
Greater Charlotte, NC
Project type
Interior Renovation
A custom wet bar in charcoal and teal, with marble counters, a brass sink and lit display cabinetry.
A bar is a small room that has to work hard, so it was detailed like a kitchen rather than an afterthought. Charcoal cabinetry sits against teal walls, with glass-fronted, internally lit uppers either side of an open centre section.
Between them, timber shelving with a brass gallery rail holds bottles at eye level above an elongated hexagon glass mosaic that catches the light. The counters are a heavily veined marble-look quartz, run across the back counter and the island in front, with a brass bar sink and a matching tap.
Undercounter refrigeration and an appliance to the right mean drinks and ice never have to come from the kitchen, which is rather the point.
Every project here was designed and built by the same MUSE team, start to finish.
