The kitchen is where a house is actually lived in, and it is the room that rewards good planning more than any other.

What is Included

We have been remodeling kitchens in Concord, Charlotte and the towns around them for more than twenty years. A MUSE kitchen starts with how you cook and who is usually in the room, then works outward to layout, storage and light.

Because design and construction both sit in our office, the drawings you approve are the drawings our carpenters build from. Cabinetry, counters, tile and fixtures are all selected in our design center with a designer beside you, and your materials are warehoused before demolition begins so the schedule holds.

Layout and space planning

Measured drawings, as-built plans and 3-D renderings so you can walk the new layout before a wall moves.

Cabinetry and storage

Cabinet specifications drawn to your room, with the interiors, pull-outs and pantry storage worked out properly.

Counters, tile and fixtures

Quartz, stone and tile selected in our design center alongside sinks, faucets and hardware that suit the room.

Appliances and electrical

Appliance specification plus the electrical, venting and layered lighting needed to make the kitchen work.

What kinds of projects does MUSE take on?

We are a design-build firm handling custom home renovations: kitchen remodels, bathroom transformations, large-scale interior renovations and new construction. Design and construction are both in house, so one team carries your project from the first drawing through the final walkthrough.

How does the design process work?

It starts with a free consultation covering your ideas and a preliminary budget. From there you work with a MUSE designer in our Concord showroom to choose products and materials, and we finalise the budget against those selections before the build phase begins.

What areas do you serve?

We work with homeowners across the Greater Charlotte area, including Concord, Kannapolis, Davidson, Mooresville, Salisbury, Matthews, Waxhaw and Pineville, along with Lake Wylie, Tega Cay and Fort Mill in South Carolina.

How long does a kitchen or bathroom remodel take?

Planning and pre-ordering materials takes roughly five to eight weeks before anyone picks up a tool. On site, a bathroom typically runs eight to ten weeks and a kitchen eight to twelve weeks or more, depending on the scope. You get a schedule before work starts.

Will I be able to use the room while you work?

Usually not the room being remodelled. Demolition, plumbing and electrical work make a bathroom unusable for most of the project, so plan to use another one. We sequence the work to keep the rest of your home livable and disruption as short as possible.
